Ever since we’ve declared VisualCard as feature-complete starting from version v4.x series released last year, we are so proud of the decision, even after three years of continuous feature additions and development. This decision was made, because we’ve finished implementing all the RFCs nearly completely.
VisualCard went through several stages of development, including the codebase refactor which happened multiple times during the entirety of active feature development. The latest blog entry will go through the details of each stage from the start to the finish, with more bug fix updates to come.
Our goal of VisualCard was to implement RFCs for vCard and vCalendar to provide applications an easy way to parse the card files for both the contacts and the calendars, and we’ve managed to achieve our goal after more than three years of continuous development!
