Project Development Incident as of September 2nd, 2026

Project development was expected to continue this week as we strive to finalize development of the release candidate of an upcoming version of Nitrocid and to finalize development of several planned projects, such as Terminaux 8.8. This would mark an intermediate milestone between the two eras: the pre-MediaBoom era and the post-MediaBoom era.

However, we are facing an incident where internet access was continuously being unavailable to the point that it was unacceptable to work in this state, and we are lacking adequate alternative resources to mitigate the situation whilst trying to find a final solution to the incident. As a result, the following happened:

  • Our projects have suddenly stopped receiving commits that pertain to the continuation of development of our projects, such as the first set of finalization work that was supposed to land to Nitrocid starting Sunday but got cancelled for this week due to our internet connectivity issues.
  • We are trying to investigate the situation. We have tried some basic troubleshooting to make sure that it wasn’t from our side, and the problem still persisted, preventing the continuation of proper development of our projects.
  • We are now escalating the issue to our internet service provider to try to get to the final solution without obliterating all our plans, but it seems that our plans will inevitably face changes to adjust to the current situation.

As a result, releases of Terminaux 8.8, Nitrocid 0.2.1 RC, Nitrocid 0.2.1 Final, and various planned releases, such as new projects to be announced in the near future, will undergo delays until a new announcement surfaces later. That announcement will include new release dates for the first three projects mentioned. Until then, development can go on, but slightly slower than usual, starting September 3rd.
